Igz

Igz was the Light who misinterpreted the mind merge he stumbled upon at Disa, resulting in him causing the Great Misunderstanding. He believed the Dren were torturing and destroying two Lights, so he attempted to stop the process. The result was Arlon's mind being merged with two others, while his and Mesa's mind were lost in the Dren empty space. Before Jack's mind found him in the empty space, he had believed the universe had somehow been destroyed and he was the only one who survived.

Igz is quite different from the Lights who consider themselves protectors of organic life forms. Most of those Lights could be considered scientists with a very narrow view of the universe. Like many other Lights, he chooses to not stay in one place. Instead he wanders the galaxy, meeting new beings, creating new light art, and experiencing as much as possible. Through his travels he has seen every intelligent life form in the galaxy while meeting every one of the other Lights. He has no interest in knowing how anything works, but he is a little curious about why he exists. His main interest is creating Light sculptures, a process that can take up to one hundred thousand years to complete.

Igz considers himself to be an artist and nothing else. But many who encounter him believe his philosophical abilities to be equally as great. His travels throughout the galaxy along with his willingness to communicate with anyone who is interested have allowed to to have an unique view of everything.
